      Tonight: Rain and showers across N Ireland and other W areas will be slow moving overnight. It will begin clear with a frost across C and E areas, however will cloud over from the W later. It will become breezy, especially in the SW.

      Saturday: Widespread heavy rain across W areas will track E and will readily turn to snow across parts of Scotland, Wales and C England. Freezing rain is forecast across parts of S Scotland and N England, which will lead to the development of widespread ice. In the S it will be mostly rainy.
